About Charles
Charles Wierdsma is the founder of Sara Bay Construction LLC, a Sarasota, Florida custom home builder specializing in luxury residential construction. He launched the company in 2021 and has since built a portfolio of custom luxury homes across the Sarasota region, growing the business to roughly $13 million in revenue.
A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in Management of Information Systems, Charles built an unusually varied career before construction, spanning enterprise IT, renewable energy, and entrepreneurship. He has held top secret government clearance for federal contract work, earned NABCEP solar certification in Colorado, and designed and hand-built a community-funded cinema. That range informs the craftsmanship and problem-solving he brings to every Sara Bay Construction project today.
